Top 3 Things We Are Looking Forward To At The NAPPS Conference

To say that I was honored when NAPPS asked if I would be a speaker at their 2016 conference is an understatement!

Honored.  Thrilled.  Humbled.  All of those words and more.

Here are the top 3 things that I am most looking forward to:

LEARNING

One of the things that allows me to be successful is that I love to learn.  And YOU are the best teachers!

The pet industry is unique in the way that we can all run our businesses a little bit differently and have it be successful.

There is no “one right way” to do it.

I can’t wait to talk to conference attendee’s on how they have built their successful business.

I’ve met pet sitters that only take cat clients.  I’ve met sitters that only work Monday – Friday.  I’ve met sitters that only work in apartment complexes.

What is the most unique thing about you and your business?

I can’t wait to find out!

TEACHING

Since opening up my own pet sitting company in 2008 and PetSittingOlogy in 2009, I have learned A LOT!  One of my passions is sharing what I’ve learned with YOU!

My talk at the conference will be the 4 Essential Elements of an Effective Website.

NETWORKING

If you have met me in person, and you can probably tell if you’ve watched one of the many Webinars, I’m a social guy.  I love meeting people, listening to their stories, learning where our paths overlap.  I love it!

I can’t wait to see some familiar faces and to have the opportunity to meet new friends from around the globe.

It’s not just the pet sitters that I am looking forward to meeting.  NAPPS has a great relationship with a variety of pet related vendors.

What are some new products out there that can help you?  That can help our clients?  What’s the buzz?

One of my favorite things about the pet industry is that when you align yourself with the right people, it really is WIN WIN.  We’re in this together.  I want YOU to be as successful as possible, however it is that you define success.
