I have two Facebook profiles - one business and one personal. When I first created by business profile it really wasn't working, but with time it sure did! My friends list grows everyday and I get to be in touch with people that I wouldn't talk to otherwise. Facebook helps you establish yourself as the expert so most of my clients know me through social media :-)

Facebook, if used correctly, will get any business clients.

The problem with people that are not getting new clients is that they are appraoching it from a ME thought process.

==NEWSFLASH==
IT ISN"T ABOUT YOU! It is about the CAUSE.

So, lets ask those who say it isn't working, What is your CAUSE?
Are you engaging?
Do you make assumptions when you ask questions?
Is it FUN?

Promotion of your business comes secondary. Most will know who is sponsoring the page.

Clients come when they have been a member of your FB bc maybe they found your site 4 months ago and clicked BECOME A FAN. Then, when the time came for them to go away, all of a sudden they were calling my company (bc they felt like they "knew us") and didn't even need a sales pitch and check was written for $400 to $600 (can't remember exact amount)

Not too shabby for 5 min in am and 5 min in the PM huh?
