Hi there! Congrats on implementing the elements. Yea, I looked at your source code, and I see what you mean about relying on the meta keywords. It also looks like you have Google Analytics called twice – once in your header and once near the bottom of your code.

What web builder did you use to create your website. My two biggest pieces of advice would be to a) add some more photos (preferably of yourself) and b) change your menu roll-over color from white to any other color.

Glad you found us! Sure, building a pet sitting website can be intimidating. There are so many elements that need to come together for it to work for your business.

So what does ‘work’ mean? Well, obviously you want to make sure potential clients are finding it in the search engines AND they are getting in touch with you once on your site.

Do you have clients contacting you at this point? In any case, you really should start with a stat program like Google Analytics so you at least how your site is currently working for you.

I have done my own website design & SEO work. And I have had a lot of success in my pet sitting business due to it. But it take time, research. I learned HTML coding & SEO information. Just like anything the info is out there you just gotta know where to find it!

Absolutely. Look at them simply like 14 STEPS if you need to. The most important thing is of course doing each step. If it takes you more than 14 days, that's no issue.

I liked your article. I knew about these things and never thought of putting them all together. I have been following the 14 day plan (although jumping around somewhat) but I am adding metatags and entering myself in all the search engines. I’m glad you compiled this list of things to do because it really points people in the right direction.
